Barron’s Kahoot! Branding

Using the existing (caution tape) image on our current test prep books, I designed the branding for the AP Barron’s webpage that is hosted by Kahoot! The purpose of this educational gaming site is to appeal to students while driving engagement to the brand, our books and printed resources and ultimately our web content. We have accrued more than 900K users on the site since launching in January 2022.

Barron’s Digital Branding

Branded e-mail blasts, web ads and social media posts were created to inform customers about the new partnership with Kahoot! and to drive students to the site. These images are now used when launching new titles.

Due to the popularity of the Kahoot! venture, the publisher decided to refresh the entire AP Barron’s brand which included both books and flashcards.

The Psychology book cover illustrates the original design with the traditional use of the caution tape graphic. The new design expands the concept of the caution tape into a large yellow slash that extends across the entire space of both the front and back covers. It is colorful, modern and playful and appealing. It removes the seriousness from test prep and infuses it with a fun quality.
